    Thomas Wortham IV.

Funeral arrangements are set for slain Chicago Police Officer Thomas Wortham IV.

Wortham was shot and killed May 19, when four men tried to rob him of his motorcycle.

Visitation for the fallen officer will be held this Thursday at the Leak & Sons Funeral home from 3 to 8 p.m. The wake is scheduled for 12 p.m. on Friday at the Trinity United Church of Christ, followed by the funeral at 1 p.m. Wortham will be buried at Lincoln Cemetery in Alsip.

The Chicago Memorial Foundation recently gave $50,000 to his family in honor of his memory, the Sun-Times reports.  Wortham was an Iraq-war veteran.

Meanwhile, the two suspects charged in his death, Paris McGee and Toyious Taylor, were in court Monday for their arraignment hearing. The State's Attorney, however, asked for a continuance until June 10. McGee and Taylor will remain in custody until then.
