But much to her surprise, Moran-West’s dog was found by Animal Care and Control in Chicago. Despite a red collar embroidered with her phone number, she said she was never contacted.
A Chicago woman has filed suit against Chicago Animal Control and the Fetching Tails Foundation after she says her dog was wrongly put up for adoption, with animal control failing to even call her despite her number being on the dog’s collar. NBC 5’s Natalie Martinez has the story.
