Police are looking for the driver of a vehicle that fled after running over a bicyclist last week in Avondale.

A 70-year-old woman was killed in a hit-and-run Thursday in the Loop, according to Chicago police.

The family of a woman killed in a hit-and-run crash earlier this month has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the man accused in her death, claiming negligence. NBC 5’s Kate Chappell reports.
