Chicago rapper Rhymefest tweeted his opinion on Spike Lee’s movie “Chiraq” a day after the official trailer for the film was released, and it appears he is not in favor of it.

Over a particularly violent Fourth of July weekend, during which nine people were killed and another 53 were wounded in shootings, not a single shooting incident was reported in the South Side Englewood neighborhood.

“Chiraq” director Spike Lee spent his last Sunday in Chicago at St. Sabina Church on the South Side, where Fr. Michael Pfleger made him an honorary member of the church during mass.
