Naperville Man Goes Missing Near LA

Bryce Laspisa, 19, was driving from his college in near Sacramento to his family's new home in a suburb of LA Friday when something went wrong. Charlie Wojiciechowski reports.

The mystery deepens around the disappearance of a Naperville college student who's been missing since Labor Day weekend in suburban Los Angeles. Officials have determined that a badly-burned found near Lake Castaic last week is not 19-year-old Bryce Laspisa. Dick Johnson reports.

The parents of a Naperville man who went missing in California a month ago are trying to keep interest in the case alive.

Bryce Laspisa, 19, a student at Sierra College near Sacramento, Calif., vanished Aug. 30 while driving to his family's home in Laguna Niguel. His SUV was found near the lake with his cell phone, wallet and laptop still inside.

Three vigils were held Monday night, one in Naperville and two in California.

Vigil attendees held up glow sticks and lit cell phones in honor of the missing man.

Officials called off the search two weeks after Laspisa disappeared.
