A woman who stripped naked on a flight from Chicago to New York City over Thanksgiving weekend will not be charged.

The woman, believed to be in her late 20s, was restrained on the plane after she removed her clothes during a Delta flight that originated at O'Hare International Airport.

Local law enforcement officials took her into custody when the plane landed, according to Delta spokeswoman Betsy Talton who spoke with the Sun-Times.

The woman was described as "emotionally disturbed" and taken to a New York hospital after the plane landed at New York's JFK airport, according to the spokeswoman.

The incident did not cause interference with the flight.

Police do not plan to release the woman's identity or her hometown.
