While NBC 5 photographer Michael McGovern covers the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, he has a little stuffed friend along for help—and for a noble cause.
McGovern is taking pictures of the tiny stuffed bear at various stops to raise awareness for the Little Bear Foundation, a Flossmoor, Illinois.-based organization that supports families of prematurely born children.
The foundation was started in 2006 after its founders spent 74 heart-wrenching days in the hospital watching their own premature son struggle to survive.
McGovern took his little bear along when he covered the 2016 Rio Olympics, as well. Follow the bear's adventures below and find out how you can help the Little Bear Foundation!
