Four people were hospitalized after a head-on collision Sunday morning on the Stevenson Expressway near southwest suburban Stickney.
The crash and investigation closed all inbound lanes for more than two hours, State Police said.
Emergency crews responded at 6:23 a.m. to a head-collision on the inbound Stevenson Expressway (I-55) near South Central Avenue, according to Illinois State Police District Chicago Trooper Dan Garcia.
Four people were injured, two seriously, when a vehicle traveling west in the inbound lanes collided head-on with an eastbound vehicle, Garcia said. Hospital information was not immediately available.
