Fun February Photos

Capturing moments like this is the reason I feel compelled to keep my camera on me the majority of the time -- this snowflake landed on my wrist one evening while waiting at the Sheridan el stop. The contrast between the delicacy of the snowflake and the roughness of my wool jacket and winter mittens makes this photograph one of my favorites. (It also serves as a reminder that winter in Chicago isn't ALL that bad!)
