Harvey Police have charged two people in the murder of two Harvey youth football coaches last week.

Carrie Cook, 24, of Harvey and Gene Lewis, 31, of Blue Island, have each been charged with two counts of first-degree murder, said police spokeswoman Sandra Alvarado.

Police believe the motive was robbery and are still looking for two more suspects, a male and a female.

Alvarado said police believed this was an isolated incident and that the victims knew the shooter.

The bodies of the two Harvey football coaches, Frank Brassel, 50 and Echford Cooper, 45, were found gunned down in their home on April 20.
