“SNL” Kisses Blago Goodbye

Former "governor" offers farewell poem

We knew it was coming.

Saturday Night Live couldn't pass up the comedic chance to post fun at the antics of former Gov. Rod Blagojevich during his final week of office.

"Blagojevich," played by Jason Sudeikis, offered a wig-wearing farewell during Weekend Update with Seth Myers. This week, fewer expletives, but he did call the politicians who voted to remove him from office 59-0 -- D-bags.

"If you have a problem with me, why don't you come out and say it?"

Corruption took another hit as the skit pointed out the odds of it in Illinois were "like a coin toss coming up tails." And Gov. Pat Quinn took a hit with "he's great if you like foreheads."

Sudeikis ended the sketch with a speech much like many of the real ones by Blagojevich, with a poem called goodbye.

"On behalf of all the Blagojevichs', goodbye to all you sons of $%$^#."

We hear the former governor's appearances will go on hiatus -- until the criminal trial.
