(Crain’s) — UAL Corp. shares dropped more than 3% Friday after J. P. Morgan Chase & Co. analysts downgraded the stock, spooked by the company's fall from the thrift wagon Thursday when it said it was contemplating buying new airplanes amid a recession in air travel.
