Attend Beer School 101

Duke's Alehouse and Kitchen offers sudsy class

If only we had a Beer 101 class in college. That would have been so ... unproductive. But , so awesome.

Now that you're a little older (and so much more mature), learn all about those frothy brews in a class that'll teach you all about man’s favorite drink, Duke’s Alehouse and Kitchen’s Beer 101 School.

This month's class will be held January 13, and features a variety of special Porters and Imperial Stouts including Yeti Imperial Stout (a massive, roasty, chocolate/coffee malt flavor with toffee and burnt caramel notes), Old Rasputin (a rich, intense brew with a robust palate, a fruity nose and a warming finish), Dragon’s Milk (a soft, rich caramel-malt character intermingled with deep vanilla tones), and more.

Unlike college, you actually have to be responsible enough to make a reservation to indulge in this brew. Think you can handle that, kiddo?

Beer School 101 costs $25 per person, which includes small bites and 3-ounce beer samples. Visit for more information.
