Microsoft Hosts Geek 2 Chic Fashion Show
Moshpix: Microsoft and Bloomingdale's teamed up this week for Geek 2 Chic, a fashion show featuring technology leaders from the public and private sector. The group of tech-savvy men worked the catwalk and proved that a dude that can fix your computer with his eyes closed can also look pretty good rockin' a smart suit and a bowtie. Models from Chicago companies such as Groupon, Singlehop, KillerSpin, Chicago Tech Academy and Tribeca Flashpoint Academy and Rockit Ranch Productions took part in the fashion show. The proceeds from the event benefited the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE), an organization that supports young people from low-income communities.
