New Sox TV Spots Ready to Roll

New commercials feature Sox players, staff

The Chicago White Sox are set to roll out their new series of television commercials on Wednesday.

The new spots build on their 2009 advertising theme "There are traditions. And there are White Sox traditions."

In one commercial, White Sox groundskeeper Roger Bossard has fun with his nickname, "The Sodfather." In another, Paul Konerko, Jermaine Dye, Brian Anderson, Josh Fields and Alexei Ramirez reflect on how outfielder Carlos Quentin prepares for games, and in another, catcher A.J. Pierzynski shows how the lengths he's willing to go in order to ensure he's ready for his starting pitchers.

New spots will also be available in Spanish featuring Ozzie Guillen and Ramirez.
