6:30 a.m.: In what could be a preview of the gold medal final, the U.S. women's hockey team squares off against their Canadian rivals in preliminary play on the NBC Sports Network. The Canadians have won the past three Olympic golds, but the Americans have won the past four meetings -- the last one that ended in a bench-clearing brawl. 8 a.m.: Chicago speedskater Shani Davis has a chance to make history on Wednesday. He could become the first American male Olympian to win three consecutive gold medals in the same event when he competes in the 1000 meter long track event. After competing in the 500 earlier this week, an event he admitted was nothing more than a tune-up, Davis said he's focused and ready for his signature event. Glenview's Brian Hansen hasn't felt 100 percent in Sochi, but hopes to be in medal contention as well. Click here to watch live.
