Robots Invade Chicago

In movies like "Terminator" and "I Robot,"  the people of Earth are forced to battle robots that are faster, stronger, and sometimes smarter than humans.

Before the engineers of the future get a chance to jeopardize the human race with artificial intelligence, they are honing their skills at the "First Robotics Midwest Competition" in Chicago this weekend.

More than 1,000 students from 54 high schools across the Chicago area are participating in competitive games, played by remote controlled robots. In honor of the 40th anniversary of the lunar landing, this years games are titled "Lunacy".

You can check out the action this Friday and Saturday at the UIC Pavillion.
