Roberto Luongo Mocks Himself After Awesome Panarin Goal

The Chicago Blackhawks needed a shootout to beat the Florida Panthers on Tuesday night, but thanks to the skills competition, their fans got to see a ludicrous goal from one of the team’s biggest stars.

That star is Artemi Panarin, who is once again lighting up the NHL in his second season with the Blackhawks. Going second in the shootout, Panarin came in wide on Panthers goaltender Roberto Luongo and pulled off one of the filthiest moves you’re likely to see in a shootout.

Luongo, long known for his hilarious Twitter account antics, weighed in on the shootout move in typical self-deprecating fashion: [[403833556, C]]

"If anybody finds my jock kindly return it thanks," he tweeted, accompanied by a video of the goal.

The goal was Panarin’s third shootout tally in his career, leading the Blackhawks in goals during that stretch as he’s made 60 percent of his attempts.
