Southbound lanes were shut down on the Tri-State Tollway during rush hour Monday afternoon after a truck rolled over in a southwest suburb.
The crash, which took place on Interstate 294 just north of Southwest Highway, closed four lanes on the major roadway, leaving only the shoulder for traffic to get by.
It was not immediately clear if there were any injuries or other vehicles involved.
Extensive delays were expected.
