3-Story Apartment Building Burns in Indiana

A massive fire was burning Friday afternoon in Highland, Indiana.

Multiple fire departments were battling the blaze about 5 p.m. in the 9500 block of Hampton Drive. The burning structure appeared to be a three-story apartment building.

"We spent the first 45 minutes of the fire trying to put the fire out from the inside and it just kept working again us," said Highland Fire Chief Bill Timmer.

One former resident, Eric Kiszenia, showed NBC 5 video he took of another fire at the same building in 2010.

"Oh no," Kiszenia said of his reaction to the latest blaze. "Not again."

Timmer said no one was injured during the fire.

No other information was immediately available.
