Drunken Fight Ends in Stabbing Outside Downtown Hotel

Police say the man stabbed the victim with a broken bottle

A man was wounded early Monday  after a fight led to a stabbing near the Wyndham Grand Chicago Riverfront Hotel in the city's Loop.

Investigators said at 12:30 a.m., two men got into a drunken fight at 71 E. Wacker. One of the men stabbed the other in the arm with a broken bottle. The victim was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital for stitches.

Police arrested the man shortly after the altercation. Charges were pending as of Monday morning.
