For the Chicago Blackhawks, the song “Chelsea Dagger” is usually a welcome tune, indicating that they have scored a goal and becoming a song very closely associated with the team.
On Monday night in St. Louis, the tune took on a whole new meaning for the Hawks.

The song, which the Blackhawks have used throughout their recent run of success in the Stanley Cup playoffs, is usually one that fans get into at the Madhouse on Madison, but something tells us that the fans in red that descended on St. Louis weren’t exactly thrilled at hearing it after the Hawks lost Game 7 by a 3-2 margin to the Blues.
