In observance of the 172nd birthday of the City of Chicago, the DuSable Museum of African American History is unveiling a brand-new exhibit, entitled, "A Slow Walk to Greatness: The Harold Washington Story."
The multimedia display containing thousand of photos, gifts, and personal items is housed in the Harold Washington Wing of the Museum.
However, the signature exhibition is comprised of a pioneering animatronic likeness of Mayor Washington, along with a fascinating historical account of his tenure as the 43rd Mayor of Chicago.
