Mayor Daley said that the billions of dollars being spent bailing out insurance giant AIG could just as well have been used bailing out our education system. The mayor also sounded strangely uncertain about where government funds come from: "The whole debate about the economy should be about education ... $85 billion, that's your money. I mean, it's all of our money. I don't know where they get it. It's really interesting. They just print it or something."
