Move over, Valentine's Day. We're moving on to the next (tasty beverage-filled!) holiday. We're pretty psyched that Jerry's Sandwiches in Wicker Park has brought back its Mardi Gras specials menu for the second consecutive year. Running from this Friday, Feb. 20 through Fat Tuesday, Feb. 24, the menu is filled with all of the usual Mardi Gras suspects such as fish, shrimp and crab roux gumbo, fried green tomatoes over buttermilk biscuits, muffulettas and po' boy sandwiches. Delish. Of course it wouldn't be Mardi Gras without the mighty hurricane; the light and dark run concoction mixed with grenadine and orange and pineapple juices is $8.95. If sipping beers is more your speed, take advantage of the unique beer pairing suggestions on the menu.
