One of two suspects in the sexual assault of two women on Halloween has been charged, police said.
Greg Bogacz, 27, was charged with two counts of aggravated criminal sexual assault in connection with the West Loop assault.
Police said the two women, ages 29 and 30, were walking to their vehicle at about 4 a.m. Oct. 31 near the intersection of Lake and Halsted when they were approached by the men.
Two men grabbed the women then battered and sexually assaulted them before driving off in a light- or gold-colored four-door vehicle, police said.
Last week, police released surveillance video in hopes of finding the suspects.
The Chicago Tribune reports the men went to The Mid nightclub at 306 N. Halsted St. just before 3 a.m. and left around 3:15 a.m. As the women were on their way to their car, the men reportedly approached them, grabbing both women's buttocks several times.
When the women arrived at their car, which was parked in the area, they discovered a window was broken and several things were taken, the Tribune reports.

Authorities reportedly allege Bogacz came up from behind one of the women and choked her, muffling her scream for help while a second man choked the 30-year-old woman until she passed out.
Prosecutors allege Bogacz forced the 30-year-old to perform a sex act on him and sexually abused her in other ways and the other suspect did the same with the 29-year-old woman, later forcing them to switch places.
One of the women managed to escape, running for several blocks nearly naked to get help, prosecutors said Wednesday, according to the Tribune. They say video and photos of the suspects led to anonymous tips that helped to identify Bogacz. Both victims identified him in physical lineups and witnesses also reportedly identified him in photo lineups.
Police said the two men involved in the alleged assault were thought to be between 25 and 30 years old. One was described as standing between 5 feet, 5 inches and 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighing between 150 and 170 pounds. He also has a dark beard, police said.
The other man was described as having short, blonde hair, standing between 5 feet, 11 inches to 6 feet, 1 inch tall and weighing between 150 and 160 pounds, police said. He was wearing a light-colored baseball cap, a dark jacket and a black hooded sweater.
