Today: Mostly cloudy, blustery and turning colder this morning. Clouds depart for more sunshine in the afternoon. Brisk N wind gusts between 25 to 35 mph in the morning gradually ease in the afternoon. Highs in the mid to upper 30s north of I-80, but 40 degrees south. 

Tonight: Mostly clear and much colder.  Low 20s well inland moderating to near 30 in the city.  Wind: Calm.

Saturday: Mostly sunny; cold in the morning, turning breezy and a little milder in the afternoon.  Highs between 38 to 43 degrees. Wind: SSW 5 to 15 mph.

Sunday: Mostly cloudy, breezy and even milder with showers developing late afternoon or in the evening. Highs in the mid to upper 40s, a few locations south of I-80 could reach 50 degrees.  Rain likely at night.

Monday: Generally overcast with occasional showers; still well above average with highs in the mid to upper 40s.  Light rain will mix with then change to light snow in the evening and ends at night with a dusting to an inch possible.

Tuesday: Partly sunny, windy and much colder. Lake Effect snow east in the Michiana snow belts.  Highs in the low 20s.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny, windy and extremely cold.   Morning temps in the single digits with below zero wind chill readings.  Afternoon temps only in the teens. 

Thursday: Partly to mostly cloudy with with a chance of light snow. Not as bitter with highs in the mid to upper 20s.
