    It's a beautiful day, indeed.

It seems Chicago has caught a serious case of U2 fever -- from the idolized band's much buzzed-about appearance at Metro to the selection of Chicago as the city to kick off the North American leg of the new U2 360° tour at Soldier Field on Sept. 12 (tickets go on sale next Monday, March 30, btw).

To get in the spirit, Lincoln Park's Landmark Grill + Lounge has chosen U2 to be the focus of its next free rock 'n' roll wine tasting, taking place from 6:30-8PM on Wednesday, March 25. These wildly popular events pair songs by the featured band with appropriate wine varietals -- for instance, you can expect to hear "Sunday Bloody Sunday" while sipping on a soul-stirring barolo. Free wine and passed appetizers, all set to U2 music -- Bono would be proud.

Landmark's free wine tastings take place in the hotspot's swanky, subterranean Blue Room -- very rockin' Moroccan in feel. Reservations are required as seating is limited; call 312-587-1600 to get on the list.
