Cubs' 'Space Jam' themed road trip is out of this world originally appeared on NBC Sports Chicago
Cubs themed road trips are back, and, fittingly, they've gone Hollywood.
Headed to Los Angeles for a four-game series with the Dodgers, the Cubs dressed for the occasion, rocking "Space Jam" themed attire on their flight early Wednesday morning.
Cubs manager David Ross, no stranger to themed road trips after playing under Joe Maddon from 2015-16, also got in on the fun.
"Space Jam 2" is set to hit theaters next month.

"We've got some good swag that they gave us," Ross said after the Cubs' 7-1 win over Cleveland. "We're going to light up the plane with some loud colors."
From the vibrant-colored attire to full on Tune Squad uniforms, the results didn't disappoint.
