The Chicago Cubs’ championship rings were among the most intricate and expensive rings ever designed, and now one lucky fan of the team is going to get the chance to own one.
On Friday, the Cubs announced that they would be selling raffle tickets for fans interested in owning a player-grade World Series ring. If you forget what the ring looks like, here’s a refresher: [[419324994, C]]
Tickets will cost just $10, and will be available at Wrigley Field, Cubs Store locations, or on the Cubs’ official website.
There is a BIG catch in the raffle process, however. According to the contest’s rules, a fan purchasing the raffle ticket must be in the city of Chicago when purchasing the entry in person.
If fans buy tickets online, then their credit card must be registered at a Chicago address in order to be eligible to win.
A maximum of one million entries will be available, and fans are allowed to buy a maximum of 1000 entries apiece.
