Marquis Teague’s third D-League game for the Iowa Energy was a solid one. After a dud of a performance in his second outing -- one in which he was benched -- Teague scored 13 points and dished out six assists in the Energy’s 104-94 road victory over the Sioux Falls Skyforce.
Teague played 20 minutes, shot 6-10 from the field, grabbed four rebounds and committed four turnovers. And after going 2-2 combined from the three-point line in his first two games with the Energy, Teague missed his lone three-point attempt against Sioux Falls.
Unfortunately, he was once again outshined by his backup, Kalin Lucas, who came off the bench and scored 22 points -- leading all scorers -- on 6-11 shooting from the field, while also dishing out 7 assists in 28 minutes of action.
The Iowa Energy’s next game will be on Friday night as they travel to take on the Ft. Wayne Mad Ants.
