Cubs Delay Trip to Cleveland for Family Halloween Fun

The Chicago Cubs have a day off on Monday before they resume the World Series with the Cleveland Indians in Game 6, but the players aren’t practicing or even spending a day at the ballpark.

Instead, Joe Maddon has given the players the opportunity to spend Halloween with their families, as the team will travel to Cleveland late Monday night.

One of the players that took advantage of the day off was Dexter Fowler, as he took his family out for some trick-or-treating fun before the team heads back to Ohio:

John Lackey, Jake Arrieta and other players' families got involved in the fun too:

The Cubs stayed alive in the World Series on Sunday night with a 3-2 win over the Indians, and they are hoping to play two more games in Cleveland on Tuesday and Wednesday.

When the Cubs take the field on Tuesday night for Game 6, it will mark the first time that the team has ever played a game in November and will add once again to their record for the latest that they have ever played in a calendar year.
