Before Kim Kardashian got together with the rest of her famous clan for Thanksgiving, she was doling out gravy for mashed-potatos at the Los Angeles Mission.
Dressed in a red apron and plastic gloves, the reality star joined Jennifer Love Hewitt and Zoe Saldana in volunteering at the Mission's annual Thanksgiving Dinner Wednesday night. The event was hosted by actor Kirk Douglas and his wife, Anne, according to the Mission's website.
"My parents used to take us here when we were little and different places across L.A. to give back, so I'm kind of following the tradition," Kardashian said in video posted by Showbiz 411.
As for her Thanksgiving plans, Kardashian told People she was bringing over sweet potato souffle for a potluck dinner at mom Kris Jenner's house.
"I think the holidays are just about winding down and spending time with your family," she told the magazine. "That's what it's going to be about this year for me."
No doubt brother Rob, who just came in second on "Dancing With the Stars," was also at the table.
Hollywood favorites from Justin Bieber to Jessica Alba also celebrated the holiday Thursday by tweeting thanks for their friends, family, pets and more.
