Uber Reveals Weirdest Forgotten Items In 2017

Items are most commonly lost between 10 p.m. and 2 a.m. on weekends

If you’re missing your marriage certificate, bulletproof vest, box of hair extensions or college diploma, Uber’s got you covered.

On Friday, Uber released its second annual lists of the most common and strangest items left behind in the company’s rides, along with a list of the cities and days where items are most commonly forgotten.

People are most likely to lose something on a Saturday or Sunday between the hours of 10 p.m. and 2 a.m, the company said. The most items were reported lost in 2017 on Sept. 17.

Ten common belongings round out the most frequently forgotten list, but some oddball finds comprise the 50 weirdest items of the year.

If you’ve forgotten an item in an Uber, you can go to your trip history and select the trip where you forgot something, the company said. Then tap “I lost an item” to be put in contact with that ride’s driver.

If you forgot your phone, you can still log in on a computer or use a friend’s phone.
