Ten teens were charged after a man was punched Wednesday while they attempted to sell stolen candy in front of Wrigley Field, police said.
A group of minors stole the candy from a Walgreens on Broadway Avenue, police said, and attempted to sell it outside of the Friendly Confines about 2 p.m. Some fans were assaulted during the course of the attempted sales, police said, including one man who was taken to the hospital with minor injuries after being punched.
After an altercation outside of a nearby restaurant, the teens fled, police said.
Several of the minors were found at the Belmont Red Line station and arrested.
The teens were charged with mob action.
