It's Teacher Appreciation Week and National Nurses Week, which means some businesses are giving a little extra love to educators and healthcare workers this week with freebies and deals.

- Chipotle: Teachers get buy one, get one free from 3 p.m. to close Tuesday with a valid school ID.
- Costco: Teachers get $60 in savings with new membership enrollment online.
- MOD Pizza: MOD Pizza is offering to buy items for classroooms' Amazon wish lists. "We'll select a few teachers and buy some items from their list."
- Nando's PERi-PERi: The chain will be giving away free flame-grilled chicken at all of its 42 U.S. restaurants Tuesday. Any teacher, educator or school employee with a valid school ID can receive 1/4 chicken entree in Chicago.
- Potbelly Sandwiches: Teachers can get buy-one-get-one free Monday through Thursday with a valid ID.
- Barnes & Noble: Get 25 percent off a publisher's list price for any purchase made for classroom use
- Banana Republic: Students and teachers get 15 percent off full-priced puchases with valid student or teacher ID.
- Sandals Resort: Sandals is offering nurses, teachers, mothers and military members a chance to win a vacation.
National Nurses Week deals:
- Cinnabon: Through May 11, nurses get a choice of a free minibon roll or a four-count BonBites when they show their badge at participating locations.
- Potbelly Sandwiches: Nurses can get buy-one-get-one free Monday through Thursday with a valid ID.
- Sandals Resort: Sandals is offering nurses, teachers, mothers and military members a chance to win a vacation.
- Uniform Advantage: Uniform Advantage is offering up to 50 percent off sitewide in honor of nurses week.
