A least one person was killed when a small aircraft crashed in Bartlett, Illinois Friday afternoon, officials said.
The four-seat Cessna 172 was reported to be discovered down in a possible forest preserve area of the west suburban city, according to FAA officials.
The area was reported to be just north of a neighborhood subdivision on Struckman Boulevard.
First responders were on the scene just after 4 p.m.
FAA is investigating the cause and details of the crash.
