The organizers of a real Chicago taco festival are worried the fallout from a fake one will impact turnout.
Pilsen Taco Fest is happening in a couple weeks and helps raise money for a cause in the community.
But the Better Business Bureau of Chicago and Northern Illinois put out an alert over Taco Fest Chicago, which the group says "appears to be a fake festival scheduled this weekend in downtown."
Pilsen Taco Fest, however, is very real.
This is the second year Inner City Culture will be hosting the celebration. Last year, over 20,000 people attended. But, it’s not just about good food and a good time. The group plans to donate part of the proceeds of this year’s festival to a local organization.
Las Monarcas focuses on providing scholarship money so undocumented students can have a chance to finance their education.

"My goal is to become an English high school teacher," Hernandez told NBC 5.
They’re hoping that, through the love of tacos, they can raise $10,000 for students.
