Thieves Hit Cars While Owners Tone Up

$1,000 reward offered

A series of car burglaries at fitness center locations in Naperville and the subsequent use of credit cards stolen in the burglaries have prompted Naperville Crime Stoppers to offer a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of the people responsible for the crimes.

In most cases, credit cards stolen from the vehicles were then used immediately at nearby locations, a release from Naperville police said.

The most recent cases occurred on March 2nd and 3rd in Naperville, and Downers Grove Police are investigating at least one similar case.

Anyone with information regarding these cases or the identity of anyone involved is asked to call Naperville Crime Stoppers, 630-420-6006. The callers may remain anonymous.
