Metra tweeted just after 3:30 p.m. that the duration of the delay is not known.

Inbound and outbound BNSF trains were briefly stopped near Western Avenue after a truck hit a bridge, Metra said Thursday afternoon.

Metra tweeted just after 3:30 p.m. that the duration of the delay is not known, but just before 4 p.m. said that trains were once again moving with residual delays of 20 to 25 minutes.

The BNSF line services Chicago's western suburbs, including Aurora and Naperville.
