High winds spread a three-alarm brush fire across a field Monday afternoon in Will County.
The blaze quickly covered the area in Manhattan, Illinois.
Sky 5 video showed clouds of smoke from miles away and trucks pouring water on the field.
The National Weather Service sent out a warning that covered the Chicago area and northwest Indiana before the blaze, explaining that high winds and low humidity were the perfect conditions for a fire to spread.
