A robber walked into a Michigan Avenue bank Monday morning and left behind the cash he took, according to Chicago Police.
The man entered Citi Bank, 539 N. Michigan, at 9:39 a.m. and said he had a bomb in a bag, according to Police News Affairs.
A teller gave him the money, and he fled, dropping the bag with the money and the supposed bomb.
Bomb and arson units were on the scene. They would not confirm whether or not the bag contained a bomb.
No injuries were reported.
