Drew Peterson Finds Movie Trailer ‘Hilarious'

Attorney calls Peterson in jail to let him hear Lifetime movie trailer

Drew Peterson got a call from his defense attorney this week, but the main topic of discussion wasn't legal strategy.

Instead, attorney Joel Brodsky played for his client the online trailer for Lifetime's movie about Peterson. Brodsky said Peterson thought the trailer was 'hilarious,' according to the Chicago Tribune.

The cable network recently announced "Drew Peterson: Untouchable," its movie about murder suspect Peterson, will air at 7 p.m. on Jan. 21. Rob Lowe plays Peterson in the movie.

A former Bolingbrook police sergeant, Peterson is charged with the murder of his third wife, Kathleen Savio, whose body was found in a waterless bathtub in 2004. His fourth wife, Stacy Peterson, mysteriously vanished in 2007 and has not been found.

But Peterson hasn't been tried yet.

He's been jailed in Will County since 2009 because his case is mired in legal arguments that have gone all the way to the Illinois Supreme Court.
