The Competition: Kenneth "Ken" Dunkin
The Buzz: Dori Collins, who was raised in Chicago's Hyde Park, was a Speech Pathology major and basketball player at Tennessee State University. Later, she went on to found "Pink Slip Management, Inc.," an education-based consultation agency that informs parents on their rights, responsibilities, and appropriate programs for their children. If elected, she plans to continue her focus on child advocacy, education, healthcare, fostering jobs, and entrepreneurship. Collins is also a long-distance runner, who completed four Chicago Marathons in a row before suffering a knee injury.
