Chicago Area Set to See Temps in the 60s This Week

But the warmer weather could be closely followed by snow

With just days until spring officially arrives, it appears Mother Nature plans on giving Chicago a taste of what’s to come.

With temperatures staying in the 40s and 50s for much of the week, the area is set to see highs rising into the 60s for Thursday.

But the warmer temps will likely be met with high winds, rain and possibly even a few thunderstorms.

They could also be followed by snow.

Friday’s forecast includes a chance for showers, some of which could mix with wet snow. Temperature highs Friday are only expected to rise into the low-40s, dropping into the 30s for Saturday.
