Federal officials were called in to investigate a fire at a Geneva church that police called suspicious.
Police and fire crews responded to the blaze at First Baptist Church's west campus around 8:40 p.m. Wednesday, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.
Police have not disclosed a possible cause for the fire, the Sun-Times reported. The blaze damaged some of the church's siding.
The investigation has been turned over to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives because the fire involved a church.
