The two people fatally shot in west suburban Bloomingdale Friday evening have been identified.
Catherine Kudrna, 54, and Daniel Kudrna, 55, were identified as the two people killed in the shooting, the DuPage County Coroner said in a release.
Autopsy results have led the police and coroner to allege that Daniel Kudrna fatally shot his wife Catherine Kudrna before shooting himself in the head, according to the release.
Police responded to the 300 block of Norton Lane for a call of shots fired around 5:53 p.m. on Friday. Police said at the time that despite the large police presence, there wasn’t an active threat to other residents.
The agencies are still investigating toxicology and forensic autopsy results.
