We're Cleaning is no longer cleaning up at Soldier Field after 19 years of providing its services.
A lawsuit filed by the cleaning company on Monday claims that the outfit hired to replace them got the job in a pay-to-play type arrangement.
Yvonne McGinnis, owner of We're Cleaning, said she discovered that her million-dollar contract had been taken away and awarded to Eastlake Management Services, owned by a prominent Daley fundraiser, Elzie Higginbottom.
The lawsuit also alleges that the Chicago Park District and stadium management company SMG violated laws regarding awarding contracts to minority-owned businesses.
