Some people always look good. You know the type. They make sweats and a baseball cap look fashionable on a Saturday morning.
So, why should Halloween be any different for these fashionistas? Um, it’s not.
Instead of dressing as an Oompa Loompa and heading to a bar – they’re donning their best masquerade attire to pay tribute to old Hollywood at Latino Fashion Week’s Cinema Masquerade Ball.
The ball starts at 8 p.m. with a cocktail reception at Club Mannequin (306 N. Halsted) hosted by local news anchor Silvia Perez. Tickets are $35 per person or $60 per couple.
So go get a masquerade mask, buy tickets and party like a fashion model.
Then work your sweats to brunch in the morning.
