After the success of its popular Girls Night Out events, the Downtown Naperville Alliance is hosting a Girls Weekend from Thursday, March 5 through Sunday, March 8. The charming western suburb is flush with shops, restaurants and bars, and many establishments will be offering female-friendly deals for the four-day festivities.
Look for pink and green balloons marking the businesses participating in Girls Weekend, which include some 50 scheduled events, including fashion shows, sales, dining discounts and other activities. Some highlights from the weekend's offerings include the premiere of the Laughtime Comedy Network for Women show at the Comedy Shrine on Thursday, a Spring Custom Home Tour on Saturday and Sunday, a breakfast spring fashion show on Saturday at Hugo's Frog Bar, a three-mile fun run/walk through downtown Naperville and the scenic Riverwalk sponsored by the Naperville Running Company on Saturday and dining and shopping deals galore.
